Okay, they have said this is this generation’s “Grease” and I think I agree with them. My girls had to have a HSM 2 premiere party tonight along with every other parent of a daughter between the ages of 6-14.
Amazing how they sang along with every song even though they had only heard “What Time Is It” that has been brainwashed by the Disney channel for the last 2 months. Troy emerged on the screen and the screaming began. I was watching the movie thinking about “Grease” and trying to group the two together. I guess it has similarities. Troy and Gabriella are today’s “Danny & Sandy.”
All I can say is Disney is a genius marketer. You can not go in a Walmart, Dillards, Race Track or even the school supply ailses without the High School Musical logo blinding you.
